Start with an empty glass spray bottle and then add in your Castile soap. You should add 1/4 cup of soap for every 4 cups of water. After you’ve added your soap you can then add in your water and whatever essential oils you’d like. And there you have it, a nice simple DIY cleaner to help you clean your home this spring. 

Pro Tip: When making DIY cleaners, consider using glass spray bottles because they’re better for the environment.

2. DIY Window & Glass Cleaner 

The second DIY cleaner we have for you is a nice simple do-it-yourself window cleaner that can also double as a surface sanitizer. Here’s what you’ll need:

• A glass spray bottle 
• Rubbing alcohol 
• Your favorite essential oils (3-4 drops)

Grab your spray bottle and fill it completely with rubbing alcohol. Then go ahead and add in your essential oils, whichever ones you like best, and that’s it. You can use this DIY cleaner on all of your windows and glass, and you can also use it to sanitize your surfaces throughout the day. 

Pro Tip: Lemon, orange, and lavender essential oils make good spring scents!
