This house plant is one of the most popular options for an easy-caring and air-purifying plant. Peace Lily’s help remove benzene, carbon monoxide, formaldehyde, and ammonia from the air. To care for the plant, keep it in a dark corner and water it once a week. But be sure to wash your hands after handling it to prevent skin irritation. 

2. English Ivy

English Ivy plants are often found in hanging baskets around the house. They help get rid of carbon monoxide, formaldehyde, and mold. English Ivy plants should be placed in direct sunlight where they will be kept at a consistent temperature and watered often.
