Vacations have ended and the new year has begun. As you juggle work, family, and other responsibilities, getting your home organized and keeping it that way can be a struggle. These 5 tips from maid service will help you tackle every room in your home between cleaning services and help to make your new year a success!

  1. The Entry – This is the first place you see when you come home from work and the last place you see on your way out the door. Placing a key rack or coat rack near your entrance will help keep everything you need for the day in arms reach. No more searching the house for the keys when you are trying to get out the door in the morning.
  2. The Kitchen- Whether your kitchen is big or small make the best use of your space. Store cooking utensils and spices by use. When the items used more often are at the front of the cabinets it saves time and your cabinets are more likely to stay organized. Utilize the space under your cabinets this is the perfect spot for lighting, an appliance, or, even a dish-towel rod. This will open up your counter space and make things easier for cleaning services.
  3. Living Room - As the main gathering area in the home the home the living room can get easily disorganized. Keep flat surfaces relatively free of clutter that can build up.
